With these words in my heart, I planned a trip to Udaipur. The city of lakes turned out to be more than my expectations so much so that it left an indelible mark on my spirit. My day 1 started from Chandigarh. I had to attend a few imperative meetings in Delhi, so I decided to take a halt. I had an early morning flight from the IGI airport to Maharana Pratap airport. The duration being 1h10 min, I reached Udaipur well in time to begin my day well. The Radisson Blu Palace Resort and Spa offered a lake facing view; being fascinated by a room with a view, I made bookings in advance. The view, ambience, hospitality of the place is amazing. Before heading for lunch, I decided to have coffee from the Neel Mahal (inside Radisson) with a pool view. Then I headed to the restaurant 1559 AD, which is a must visit place in Udaipur. The food was amazing and economical. 1559 AD, UDAIPUR Spending the evening soaking in the amazing view and the weather, sipping my coffee. Strolling through the resort and clicking tonnes of pictures, I headed for dinner at WOK by the lake. This slideshow requires JavaScript.
